Founder story

Daniella, Evy, and Andrew initially met through and bonded over their shared desire to help animals. Years later, Andrew had the idea to launch an ethical beauty subscription box. He pitched the idea to Daniella and Evy, who immediately understood the vision. A short time later, Kinder Beauty Box was born. And the rest is history.

I consider myself a conscious consumer and lover of beauty products, and it’s always been a struggle to sort out exactly which brands and products are okay for me to use. Ethical beauty shouldn’t be so challenging. Our aim with Kinder Beauty Box is to research and curate amazing brands and products for our subscribers to take the guesswork out of cruelty-free shopping

Giving back is in Kinder Beauty’s DNA

Each year, the Kinder team selects a small group of charity partners to receive monthly donations. To date, Kinder Beauty has donated more than $100,000 to organizations like Luvin Arms Animal Sanctuary, Physician’s Committee for Responsible Medicine, Mercy for Animals, PETA, Woodstock Animal Sanctuary, and several others.

Kinder Beauty is committed to protecting the environment

While we are not yet completely plastic-free, we have been steadily moving in that direction. We are optimistic that in the years ahead, the beauty industry will also continue to adopt more sustainable packaging, which will help us attain our goal of being a plastic-free company. In the meantime, we go to great efforts to make sure everything we produce –from our box to the insert cards we include in the boxes – are made from 100% post-consumer recycled materials.

In 2022, we also launched a sustainability program through our partners at EcoCart. With the EcoCart integration, we’re able to allow costumers to add a nominal fee to each purchase which goes directly towards the removal of plastics from the ocean in Vietnam, hence making these shipments carbon neutral.

If you’re anything like me, the idea of receiving quality 100% vegan and cruelty-free beauty products at your doorstep each month sounds like a dream. I’m very passionate about animals and I also love makeup, and I do not believe that the two should intersect. I am so proud to have helped bring the Kinder Beauty Box to life!
