The November Box: It’s Okay to Put Your Best Face Forward

To us, beauty is about so much more than how we look on the outside.

Beauty is a feeling that comes from within, from having a kind, compassionate heart. It's about looking in the mirror and honoring the person we see staring back.

It's about truly loving the person you are, faults, flaws and all...

That said, there's absolutely nothing wrong with also wanting to be happy with our physical appearance. Sometimes something as simple as a new shade of lipstick can give us an inner confidence that helps us shine.

That's why when we heard your feedback, that you wanted more vegan makeup, we listened.

The November Box is our first ever all-makeup collection. $85 worth of clean, vegan cosmetics products for just $24!

CLICK HERE to order yours now. Just like the September and October Boxes, these will sell out!

Needless to say, it's not easy choosing shades that will work for everyone. But we tried!

If we've got it right, please let us know. If we've got it wrong...well, there's nothing wrong with gifting a particular item to a friend in need.

Keeping scrolling to see what’s in store for our super glamorous November Box:

PHB Ethical Beauty Organic Eyeliner Pencil in Black (retail value, $11)

If you've been subscribed with us for a while, you already know how much we love this brand!

PHB products are free from parabens, alcohol, artificial fragrances, silicones, mineral oils, formaldehyde, and lots of other nasty stuff that’s often found in make-up that you really DON’T want on your face. They also give 20% of their profits to charity.

We love this eyeliner because it’s super pigmented, but also really gentle for sensitive skin and eyes — perfect for people who wear contacts or those whose eyes water easily. Also, this eyeliner can be worn all day without smudging.

Chella Eyebrow Pencil in Light Brown or Taupe (retail value, $20)

The Chella Eyebrow Pencil is perfect for filling in brows and creating shape. It has a creamy consistency that glides into place and can be lightly blended for a truly natural-looking finish. Complete with a retractable precision fine tip and brush attachment. No need to sharpen this baby!

Chella is known for their eyebrow makeup and this product has tons of five-star reviews from customers. We hope you’ll love it just as much as we do.

Not only do they make great products, but we also love Chella’s story. They started in 2003 in southern California out of a garage as an homage to the founder’s single mother who worked hard to make her dreams come true.

The company’s goal is to help women feel confident, beautiful, and powerful. How cool is that?!

Chella Matte Lipstick Pencil in Nude or Rose (retail value, $20)

We love this brand so much that we had to include another one of their products in this box: Chella’s super long-lasting lipstick pencil.

We love how unique this product is. It’s a jumbo pencil that acts as a beautiful, luxurious, and creamy matte lipstick. It’s drenched in vitamins C and E along with sunflower oil. It won’t feather and will last up to six hours. Subscribers will get one of two shades: Naughty Nude or Rebellious Rose.

100% Pure Dual-Ended Eyeliner Brush (retail value, $19)

Did you know that some make-up brushes, even the inexpensive ones, are made with animal hair or fur? More and more companies are switching to synthetic bristles these days, but it’s always good to check the packaging or company’s website just in case.

The great news about 100% Pure, is that you never have to worry about their ingredients or materials, because no ingredient in any of their products comes from animals.

We know how important it is to have a great (and cruelty-free) eyebrow brush, and we thought 100% Pure’s brush was perfect to include in this special collection. The 2-in-1 brush has a precisely angled tip on one side to apply brow pomade, shadow, tint, or liquid or gel eyeliner. On the other end, the spoolie brushes hair into place and distributes pigment.

Bonus: The bristles are made from recycled water bottles!

HAN Skincare Cosmetics Eyeshadow (retail value, $15)

HAN Skincare offers beautiful, shimmering natural eyeshadows. They’re made with rice powder instead of talc and they’re full of ingredients that benefit the skin like argan oil, vitamins and tea extracts.

But the skin-loving ingredients aren’t the only good things about this product.

The highly-pigmented eyeshadow is smooth, blendable, and buildable, and we love the colors! Our subscribers will receive one of these gorgeous universal shades that will look great on any complexion: Romance, Decadent or Charming.

Another great thing about HAN Skincare is that they’re all about being socially responsible. You can even send in your empty makeup containers and they’ll recycle them for you.

I got the first box with a discount just to try it out. If I’d been impressed with this box, I might have kept the subscription, but I am completely underwhelmed. First of all, the amount of packaging for the size of the products was ridiculously wasteful. There was no option for any kind of customization or skin tone matching, so several of the products (most notably the Chella lipstick pencil) are not for me. I’m already pale with thin lips, and would never choose a nude lip color – especially not one that makes my lips look nonexistent. The rose shade might have actually worked for me. My eyebrows, on the other hand, are actually nearly black, so both available colors were too light for me, and I received the lighter of the two, which obviously will not work for me. The eyeshadow is okay, but if I’d had the choice, I would have gone with the shade I did not receive. If you’re going to include products in your boxes that might not work for everyone, you need to allow for some personalization. Most of this box just feels like a waste to me. Subscription cancelled.

I am absolutely in love with the Kinder box! I love the design, the colors that they choose, the way they describe everything and that they list the price of each item. The products are high quality- all natural and usually organic! It’s a fun way to experience something new

I received the October box as well as the fall collection box. They were both glorious. As a vegan who has sampled a number of boxes, these were amongst my favourites. I confess that also being a Harry Potter fan, I can’t help but smile in knowing Luna is one of the beauties at the helm. However, I didn’t order the November box because make-up is rather personal and specific. I might suggest, although others may feel differently, that doing an all make-up box might be best as a separate option if demand arises. Otherwise, the wonderful assortment of goodies similar to the October box would have me ordering again in a flash even though it takes a little extra time to cross the pond. Either way, thanks for your commitment to making the world a happier and more ethical place for us all =^^= Lisa

I’m confused as to why they would put an eyebrow pencil in the box if the color you randomly get could not match your eyebrows and therefore be useless. That upsets me bc we don’t fill out a profile that would select our color so we don’t get a product that is useless to us and leaves us annoyed.

I don’t get the point of the eyeliner brush if it doesn’t come with gel eyeliner but like the rest of the stuff. This is my third box and so far so good but there are a few things I haven’t used or liked like the nail press ons and a few others.
