The 7 Essential Products Daniella Monet Uses Every Day
When it comes to beauty and self-care, I’m all about the essentials. Over the years, I’ve had fun testing and trying out all kinds of different products and routines, learning from friends and professionals along the way. Now, I stick to what works. My essentials all revolve around skincare because I’ve found that when I take care of my skin, I can feel gorgeous and radiant even without makeup. Here are the seven products I use every single day to feel beautiful—no concealer required!
This is one part of my special three-part concoction of toner, facial oil, and aloe that I apply on a cotton round and smooth across my face every morning. It smells like green tea and lavender, and it compliments my skin no matter how it’s behaving (sometimes I run oily, other times dry—it depends on the season). I think it really helps to reduce the appearance of my pores, and it makes me feel vibrant and fresh as I start my day.
Remember this from the June 2020 Kinder Beauty Box?
When someone first suggested I try face oil, I was definitely skeptical—I thought it would make my skin oily and clog up my pores! Actually, I learned that oil is an essential part of skincare because it helps lock in moisture and contributes to a natural dewy glow. I just put a drop or two on the cotton round—you don’t need much at all!—and the bottle lasts forever. I’ve noticed a big difference in my skin since I started incorporating this into my routine.

I absolutely love the cooling effects of this mint and lavender aloe. It’s part three of my toner/oil/aloe mixture that really helps reduce puffiness—just like a quartz roller, but better. I also keep this on hand if my skin needs some TLC from too much sun. I’ll spray it right on my sunburned face and experience instant relief.
I am all about turmeric—I wake up to a vegan golden milk latte and fall asleep with this turmeric-infused serum on my face. I just blend a few tiny tabs onto my skin before kissing baby Gio goodnight and hitting the pillow myself. It really helps to restore my skin’s elasticity as I sleep.
Back in the day, this was featured in the January 2019 Kinder Beauty Box! How does that feel like SO long ago?!
This silky eye cream was in our Kinder Favorite’s Box for a reason! It’s part of my nighttime skin routine because I know that the best way to treat wrinkles is to prevent them in the first place. As a mom to an infant, I can’t always rely on beauty sleep, but I can definitely rely on this incredible, moisturizing eye cream to make it look like I got a solid eight hours of shut-eye.
Not too long ago, you would've found this in the April 2020 Kinder Beauty Box.
Just like brushing your teeth, it’s important to moisturize both in the morning and at night. I actually look forward to my nighttime routine, because no matter how crazy my day was, it feels so luxurious to treat my skin to this non-oily, velvety smooth face cream. The Honest Company also carries tons of vegan baby products, and I love that I can shop for myself and Gio, too! (You guys, seriously ... I'm obsessed!)
The final part of my nighttime routine involves a good amount of this yummy-smelling lip balm. It’s a lovely blend of orange, rosemary, and peppermint, and even my partner Andrew approves! I’ve found it so helpful to apply balm at night because if you wait until they’re dry during the day, it’s too late! This balm hydrates and smoothes my lips as I sleep, so if I do need to apply lipstick in the morning, I never have to deal with crackly lips. Really, the key pillars of my beauty routine are hydration and prevention. When you’re proactive about skincare, you always feel beautiful!
