30 Black-Owned Cruelty-Free Beauty Companies On Our Radar-Kinder Beauty

30 Black-Owned Cruelty-Free Beauty Companies On Our Radar

Let it be known (if it’s not already) that Kinder Beauty firmly and vehemently stands against racism—both the egregious kind (stop killing Black people!) and the more insidious kind that is at the core of the way our country runs (from unequal pay to lack of access to healthcare to the every day racist systems that define the way our society, by and large, acts).

We are committed to working with more and more Black and POC-owned vegan beauty businesses, as well as continuing to use the Kinder Beauty blog as a platform for visibility and inclusiveness within the cruelty-free beauty world and far beyond.

Yesterday, we posted to our IG a list of Black-owned vegan businesses that we love, and asked you, our Kinder community, to add to the list. And you did! We are inspired, emboldened, and grateful.

Please help us by continuing to add to that list. And feel free to pitch Kinder Beauty’s Content Director Jasmin Singer directly (jasmin@kinderbeauty.com) with story ideas and pitches as they relate to antiracism, inclusivity, and cruelty-free self-care/beauty.

We will continue to do our part to stand for what is right, which is at the core of why we started Kinder Beauty. We believe in ethics, compassion, and community, and we strongly believe that everyone with a platform—whether that is our co-founders Daniella and Evy, or the Kinder Beauty platform as a whole—should be using this pivotal moment in history to speak against cruelty and racism and to help build a new, Kinder and more beautiful world.

To that end, this week we have proudly donated to the George Floyd Memorial Fund, Black Visions Collective, Campaign Zero, Reclaim the Block, and Unicorn Riot, and will continue to work on antiracism until racism no longer exists.

Below is a list of Black-owned, cruelty-free beauty businesses—largely compiled thanks to your help.
